Ocean Pond Mud Bog

Ocean Pond Mud Bog

426 NE 268th Ave, Old Town, FL 32680

Tucked away in Old Town, Florida, Ocean Pond Off Road Park and Mud Bog isn't your typical high-profile trail system—it's smaller, more local, and a little more low-key. With a heavy focus on mud trucks, weekend rides, and down-home energy, this park feels more like a private backyard jam than a corporate park event—and that might be precisely why it works.

What We Know

There's no parking charge, and daily admission is $20 per person, which includes your riding and camping for the day. If you plan to stick around for the whole weekend, a club membership runs $50 per person, giving you access from Friday at 4:00 PM through Sunday evening.

Camping is primitive or self-contained RV-style—no hookups or dump stations—but you will find some core comforts: port-a-potties, an outdoor shower, and an on-site food truck. The setup's minimal but covers the basics for a muddy weekend out.

Vibe Check: Family-Run and Mostly Muck

From what we've gathered—and based on Facebook photos and the limited info available online—this place caters mostly to big mud trucks and bog pit fun. Trails haven't been clearly confirmed, and there's a chance this is more of a free-form bog and crawl experience than a mapped trail network. Until that's clarified, we're keeping it marked as unknown.

Important Notes Before You Roll In

  • No night riding allowed.
  • No noise after sunset—which may include engine revs, loud music, or even rowdy campfire chatter.
  • Gates open Fridays at 4 PM on event weekends, and campers must be out by 6 PM Sunday.
  • Bring walking shoes! You may not be able to ride your machine around after dark, even to the restroom or food truck.

The lack of elaboration around "noise" policies may raise eyebrows for some weekend warriors who like to let loose after dark. If you're used to late-night rides or bumping trail speakers, this might not be the park for you—or at least, come prepared to keep the fun on mute after sunset.

Ocean Pond is still a mystery in the Florida off-road scene, but it's got a loyal crew of boggers and enough good vibes to make you curious. We'll update this page as soon as we get more info from the owners—but until then, keep it respectful, keep it quiet after dark, and keep the wheels turning.
