Plant Bamboo Mud Park

Plant Bamboo is a different kind of mudpark in every way. It is a functional cattle ranch, the family describes as an agritourism riding/camping park. In addition to its floating island and mud pits, you can pet a cow, walk the farm, or experience old Florida farming.
Although the ranch is open seven days a week, the family requests that everyone leave by 5 p.m. on Sunday so they can enjoy Sunday evening with their family and property.
I am sure this is well deserved for the family that hosts DJs, foam parties, bounty competitions, and more every weekend. And the four events they host each year, like Trucks Gone Wild, can draw up to 5,000 partygoers to the grounds.
The Truck Gone Wild weekends are precisely what they sound like: mud, debauchery, and memories. And while the kiddos are welcome on regular weekends, event weekends are 18+ only.
The hubby and I went for TGW 2025 and can confirm, you do not want kids at this event, but it was a blast! I had never seen so many swamp buggies and mega trucks freely roaming in one place. The water holes and mud can not be beat in Florida. It is the kind of mud with suction that swallows you in, no matter how fast you try to skim across, and you'd better have help with you!!
You could tell it was a functioning ranch, at least by the setup. You will want to bring a mower and a weed eater. The grass is cut out there for events, but trust me on this one thing. We also got and set up our own bathroom and showers. They do have plenty of porta-potties, but the showers are outside and uncovered, very much like the shower you use to rinse off before you climb into the pool. Which is a non-issue in the Florida summer, but when it cools off for Muddy Valentine in February, consider what you can bring to clean up.
I am upfront and honest in my opinion. This park was a blast and had plenty to do for vehicles of all kinds, from small ATVs to giant mega trucks. However, the trail system is small, and it mainly consists of holes you are hitting around a large ranch. But do not let that detract from the beauty and fun of this place. It is definitely a park we will be back to for more events, but it is not a park I would ride 5 hours to on a regular weekend ride.
While trail riding is limited, the family more than makes up for it in the other on-site offerings. Since this is a working ranch, expect the rules to be enforced. You can find a detailed breakdown of those rules on their website. Remember, if there are stand-out rules that are not usual for a park, I will point them out. Otherwise, assume the park is abiding by, at a minimum, Florida OHV laws.
