Park Rules & Safety Guidelines
River Neck Acres is dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and respectful atmosphere. Riders must follow all South Carolina laws, including Chandler's Law, which governs ATV safety.
Key Safety Rules:
- Helmets are required for riders under 16 on ATVs and dirt bikes
- Drivers without a valid license cannot carry passengers
- No riding on public roads or dirt roads—SC law prohibits ATVs from county and state highways
- Leave your wristband on at all times—guests without wristbands are considered trespassers
- No weapons or hunting allowed
- Check-out time is noon—late departures incur a fee of $25 per hour
- Quiet hours: 11:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Campground & Facility Rules
To keep the grounds pristine and enjoyable for everyone, campers and visitors are expected to respect the following guidelines:
- Maintain basic housekeeping—keep campsites, cabins, and common areas clean
- Pets are welcome but must be leashed, quiet, and well-behaved
- No fireworks, profanity, or reckless behavior
- Fires must be contained within approved areas
- The bathhouse closes nightly at 11 p.m. and reopens at 8 a.m. Port-a-johns are available 24/7
Pipeline & Trail Restrictions
- Strictly prohibited: Riding on the pipeline right-of-way, damaging markers, fences, or signs
- Tampering with pipeline markers is a federal offense—violators will be required to leave immediately
- Follow posted speed limits and staff directives—failure to comply may result in removal from the premises
